Scrubbing Floors And Good Tunes

Scrubbing Floors And Good Tunes

I don't mind a day a deep cleaning as long as I have loud, good beats spinning.
Jarvis Cocker from Pulp is one of my favorite front men ever.
If you have time to waste, Youtube Pulp and watch Jarvis.
He's a cool cat in my book of things that are cool.

I spent the afternoon on my hands and knees scrubbing floors.
Tonight I have a wonderful feeling of satisfaction and a clean smelling house.

Scrubbed stairs and the view from the basement.

Sweaters, handmade purses and our library bag.

This print once hung in my great-grandma's entryway.

The view from my kitchen to the back door.
My brother Nicholas painted the beautiful large floral painting.
One day I hope Nic finds time to paint but for now he is busy raising three button cute girls, loving a wife and working hard with his new cabinetry business.
My brother is brilliant with wood!

I used to be way into cross-stitching samplers.

This is the top of a very old floor lamp.

Guess what I use it for?

A cap stand.
It holds caps and hats quite well.

Cheers to a new week friends!

  1. Hi Camille! It was so nice to meet you and your family the other day at the Marriott. I hope you had fun in Vernal. I will tell my brothers that I ran into Chris! By the way... cute blog! -Kim
