Quilt

Quilt

I finished binding this quilt last night.
It was fun to work on.
The colors outside my window as I worked are the same colors of the quilt.

(Oliver wants me to write that he was not picking his nose. He was scratching his nose.)

I used my last bit of this fabric. (Superbuzzy.com)
Oh I love those three dancing pigs.
I think the little girl who will own them will adore them too.
For now it is homeless.

The backing fabric is vintage chenille.
I was using this chenille bed cover as a dust ruffle on my bed but finally too much of the fringe trim ripped away.
It's really an awesome quilt backing.
I have enough chenille leftover to back one more quilt.
And maybe I'll use a bit of it to make a 'Linda'.

Happy new week and happy first of May!
