Excessive Randomness/Craft Sabbath

Foremost, if I put Ricky Gervais' name in all of my blogs and blog daily telling him I'm his number one fan, will he respond?
I read his blog and know he googles himself often.

Freya is becoming an awesome reader!
I'm so, so proud of her.
We made a deal that if she read independently three times a day (20 minutes) I would post some of her photo's.
As promised, Freya's photo's.

We had an pumpkin, food, beer and knit/crochet party on the 30th of October.

My best mate Andrea and I met in July.

We are two peas in a pod.

She rocks hard.

Her awesome, funny husband Jacob is thirteen years younger than her.

That rocks too!

I wish Chris was twenty four.
But when Oliver was born Chris would have been..... never mind.

Andrea is moving back to Germany in June next year which makes me sad.

We try to spend a lot of time together and it is nice.

Europeans make for good friends.

They don't do a bunch of glittery bullshit talk.

I made Freya be a princess for Halloween.

My mom bought her an $80, yes $80 princess dress at Disneyland.

I made her wear it.

I would not buy her a different costume.

I did let her be a vampire princess for Trick or Treats with fangs and blood and black eyes.

More of Freya's photo's.

(I like the Lego man).

I cleaned out my hall closet.

I guess I buy a lot of glue.

It's much cheaper than Modge Podge, especially at the beginning of school when glue is 25 cents.

Freya reading.

Freya reading again.

If you have info on how to fix this please let me know.

P.S. I want to send a little something, something to those that commented wittily on my MJ post. If I have mailed to you before, I have your address if not please e-mail me your address to Every good joke deserves a around of applause or a treat in the mail.

  1. Camille, I may be busy and not read every one of your posts, but every one I do read makes me chuckle.
I would pay the $$ for the banner and scottie and broches, but probably not Pauls or Baugettes'... not because they don't deserve that price, but because I am cheap and have to feed my four kids!
Such cute stuff though! I proudly display my flag banner that you made for me last year... and I made a couple kind of like it to sell at my craft fair this year.... thanks!

  2. Oh Brooke, I adore you and your new baby, I understand and appreciate your input. Thanks earthmama!

  3. See my dilemma, I have to comment on my own post as anonymous.

  4. I must have another Paul!!! Henry has adored his and that was one of his first words. He still only says about 10 understandable words so that shows the magnitude of the statement. $25 is steep for a "stuffed animal" but I see all the work and detailing you do on them. My favorite part is his teeth.

The scottie and banner price is right on. Good luck at Craft Sabbath!

  5. Caroline thanks so much. It's hard for me to sell my work. I'd rather give my stuff to people I like and love than undersell it to people I don't know. Everything I make is so unique and personal. If you want a Paul come pick one! I'll give you a super good deal.

  6. Hey Camille, love all your stuff, i think your prices are cheap, and I would pay what you are asking, I like their uniqueness, good luck with the stall.
Totally agree Europeans make good friends, I have 2 European friends and they are very cool! i hope you get in touch with ricky, I didn't know he had a blog, must check it out! Have a good one, Julie:)

  7. Camille,
Your prices seem very fair-I do think you should charge at least $10 for the scotty dogs. Oh how I wish I were close and could hang out with you at the craft fair. Good luck dear soul!!

  8. Hey, I'm Shannon Crawford's mom. Saw your comments on Fbook and thought "I gotta get to know this woman"!
I wish every Sunday was Craft Sabbath : )
I'm trying to remember who Donny is... Fargo, Pulp Fic or Big Leb??

  9. p.s. I work at MIdvale Elementary, I think I pass your house on my way to work.

  10. Thanks Cathy, Donny is a character in Big Lewbowski, who is played be Steve Buscemi, who is also my favorite character in Fargo. I love the Coen Bros. You definitley pass my house on your way to work. My house has a bright turquoise blue door. Come see me at Craft Sabbath! I would love to meet you. I think Shannon is great!

  11. Oh Camille, you're so creative! I'm totally coming down on the 11th!!! And I just noticed my mom commented! We'll come visit you on the 11th for sure!
