Missing For A Week And A Giveaway
I haven't blogged for a week.
Mostly because I have been project jumping and haven't finished anything to show and tell.
Until last night.
I bought the 'Ruffle pants' pattern by 'Portabellopixie'.
They were really fun and easy.
I couldn't tell the back from the front so I sewed a bit of ribbon into the back seam.
Thursday night Oliver and I worked on his valentine box.
Freya modeling with her fashion pose and 'Zoolander' look. ( A very bad movie by the way.)
I am working on a group of softies, The Rogue Rabbit Gang.
This is Paul.
I mentioned another giveaway last week.
"Sew Easy' is a great book for brand new sewers.
It includes 12 fun projects and a guide to getting started.

It is not finished.
It still needs a button in the back and fancy trim sewn to the yoke.

On Wednesday I will draw a winner.
I missed blogging and will get my groove together this coming week.

Oh, your rogue rabbit gang is ridiculously cute. Great inspiration for Easter prezzies... And I LOVE the hedgehog fabric you used for the ruffle pants!! I used that for the first-ever pants I made for my Bebe (which had weird fit-over-the-diaper issues, but I loved them anyway).
ReplyDeleteI love all of the sweet clothes you are making for Freya. My mother used to make my clothes when I was little and I remember how excited I would get to wear a new handmade dress. I would love to enter the giveaway. Thanks for the opportunity.

ReplyDeleteI love love love the vintage table you put your books in! Very cool. This book would be the PERFECT book to gift my dear friend who has just received a new sewing machine for Christmas. I have been working hard at pulling her over to the fabric/sewing obsessed club that I belong to. This looks like a good starting book for her. Pick Me.!
ReplyDeletei cannot resist!!! those ruffle pants are awesome!
ReplyDeleteThis book would be a lifesaver! I have no sewing skills whatsoever and am at a complete loss when I lose a button or manage to rip a garment.

I'd love to win the book as I want to learn how to sew again. I used to sew on my mother's old Husquerna machine, but it's broken and I am wondering about getting a new one.
